What is Pilates
Pilates is a unique exercise regimen that focuses on developing "core stability" working the abdominal, back, thigh, buttock and hip muscles.

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's, Pilates has been the exercise choice for anyone looking to enhance their overall well-being and tone their physical structure. The discipline of Pilates originally with Body Contrology appeals to Fitness enthusiasts of all levels, rehab patients, dancers and all-star athletes will benefit from Pilates.

The Method Pilates promotes physical harmony and balance for people of all ages and physical conditioning while providing a refreshing and energizing workout. Pilates works from inside-out. This means we are working the body from the interior, deep muscles to the exterior surfaces creating deep stability of the spine and torso to assist in contrology and all body movements.

Pilates is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, performed on specifically designed equipment and supervised by extensively trained professional instructors.

Regardless of your current fitness level, Method Pilates can be your primary mode of body conditioning and injury prevention or can enhance your current workout through body control and isolation.
